Diane is the Clinical Director at Synergy and has over 20 years of experience providing individual, family and couples therapy in the Capital District.  She is a licensed therapist with a Psychotherapy Privilege and has worked in many settings throughout her career including outpatient therapy practices, inpatient hospitals as well as residential treatment programs.

Diane is trained in Crisis Intervention Stress Management and began using this therapeutic intervention to help victims of 9/11.  She also provides emergency crisis intervention services to companies when there has been a life altering event.  In addition, she provides training and consultation for companies to support their staff in developing a healthy work life balance.

At Synergy Diane provides individual and couple’s therapy, group work, training and clinical supervision.  Her approach to treatment relies on developing a strong therapeutic relationship with the individuals and couples she counsels.  She works as a team to address what is most important for them to live a healthier, richer, and more fulfilling life.  She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, trauma, and relationship issues using evidenced based treatment modalities.

Diane enjoys volunteering in her community and is currently the Board Chairwoman of the Bethlehem YMCA.  She had a Wellness Column in Capital Region Living Magazine for many years and select articles can be found on this website. In her free time she spends time with her family and friends and loves cycling, hiking, yoga, and being in nature.
